I am very busy painting, in preparation for my upcoming Solo Show at Neilson Park Creative Centre. Since I found some time to experiment with collaging, I have entered one of them at the IMAGINATION 2014. This was a summer exhibit open to all artists that started on August 11th and ended on September 7th. Here is the one I presented at this show.
My painting The Windmills of My Mind, Series I have been accepted into this juried show. Over 160 painting were presented, fifty of them were selected by the jurors to be in the exhibit. With great joy I learned that my work was selected once again. This is the fourth time that one of my paintings makes it into an IMPACT Art Exhibit. The jurors for the show were Doreen Renner and Margaret Glew. The show runs from July14th until August 7
I participated in the Black and White Show at NPCC with At Your Window Tonight. The exhibit run from June 23 until july 11. Although my preference are the bright colours, I have enjoyed painting with a very limited pallete this 16" x 20" collage on canvas. I decided to further explore with black and white in a series of acrylic on paper that will be part of my upcoming show in November
The Big Chill show is open to members and non members of NPCC and runs from January 6th to January 26th. I am exhibiting two paintings I produced in 2013. They belong to an experimental series that I started last year. In each painting I used a different palette, tools and theme. And there is Light at the end.... and Soaring High, exhibited in Ottawa in 2013 also belong to this series. Click at the top of this page (2013) for St Brigit's Centre for the Arts Exhibit

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I graduated as an Architect with a degree from the University of Buenos Aires. I moved to Toronto, Canada where I worked for the following six years as an architectural designer prior to opening a Design firm. I have been a 30-year long member of the Association of Interior Designers of Ontario, now known as A.R.I.D.O. My training as an architect included colour theory, composition, drawing, and model making. This, coupled with the 34 years of experience in design has breathed life to a new future for me. In 2003, I finally unleashed my passion for colour, composition and creation on canvas. With a foundation built on art courses taken in Canada and the United States, alongside the exploration of new techniques and uncovering self-expression through my palette, I have fully immersed myself in creating art. Enjoy!
