Meet the Artist Night at the Art Square Gallery


On September 12th, the exhibiting artists had an opportunity to chat and answer questions about their work. I am posting a few pictures with visitors that responded to my invitation and joined me for the event. I thank guests and the general public for attending. My special gratitude to Deputy Consul of Argentina, Mr. Luis Luna and his wife Celeste for taking time from their busy schedules to share the evening with me. The show closes this coming Sunday. Stop by if you are in downtown this weekend. The Art Square Gallery is located at 334 Dundas St. West, just across from the Art Gallery of Ontario.

"Fall- Once Again"... also finds a new home

Fall- Once Again is a 42" x 48" acrylic painting on canvas. This time I have used a limited colour palette and knife technique. The new owner, a very loyal collector, commissioned this piece after seeing a small version in my studio done on paper (18" x 24" ). I find it difficult to part with some paintings. I would have loved to display Fall - Once Again in my studio... if I had enough walls. I am happy knowing that it is being enjoyed and appreciated in a new home.

I enjoyed attending the reception to the Etobicoke Art Group exhibit. It was a great opportunity to share a Sunday afternoon with fellow artists, family and friends. IMPACT 2022 Juried Exhibition at NPCC

  My painting titled Naked Trees was selected to enter Impact 2022 Juried Exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre. For the past couple of years I have been working on this series of naked trees using different palettes and techniques. This mixed media piece is part of a small series that will be complete by the end of this year. The show had the Award ceremony on July 21st with great attendance from members and guests.
