On November 2nd family and friends have attended the Reception at Neilson Park Creative.
 It was a good opportunity to chat and view my latest work. Their support is greatly appreciated.

IMPACT 2022 Juried Exhibition at NPCC

  My painting titled Naked Trees was selected to enter Impact 2022 Juried Exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre. For the past couple of years I have been working on this series of naked trees using different palettes and techniques. This mixed media piece is part of a small series that will be complete by the end of this year. The show had the Award ceremony on July 21st with great attendance from members and guests.

"Fall- Once Again"... also finds a new home

Fall- Once Again is a 42" x 48" acrylic painting on canvas. This time I have used a limited colour palette and knife technique. The new owner, a very loyal collector, commissioned this piece after seeing a small version in my studio done on paper (18" x 24" ). I find it difficult to part with some paintings. I would have loved to display Fall - Once Again in my studio... if I had enough walls. I am happy knowing that it is being enjoyed and appreciated in a new home.

PROPELLER CENTRE FOR THE VISUAL ARTS

From  January 2nd to January 26th PROPELLER CENTRE FOR THE VISUL ARTS presents SALON 8. A month long show featuring the work of members of the centre. Each exhibiting member had the opportunity of inviting a non-member artist. I was invited by my friend Gwen Tooth to participate in this year's exhibit. The reception was today, between 6:30 and 9:30 PM, with  great turnout despite weather conditions.
