TRANSFORMATION EAG members Exhibition 2024

I am participating once again in the EtobicokeArt Group Members Exhibition with two pieces of the series I named FLOATING. I have been working on this group of paintings for the past two years. With seven pieces on canvas and six on paper, I may explore a new theme for now before expanding this one.

I will be attending the closing reception at Neilson Park Creative Centre on Saturday, April13th at 2:30PM.

IMPACT 2022 Juried Exhibition at NPCC

  My painting titled Naked Trees was selected to enter Impact 2022 Juried Exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre. For the past couple of years I have been working on this series of naked trees using different palettes and techniques. This mixed media piece is part of a small series that will be complete by the end of this year. The show had the Award ceremony on July 21st with great attendance from members and guests.

"Fall- Once Again"... also finds a new home

Fall- Once Again is a 42" x 48" acrylic painting on canvas. This time I have used a limited colour palette and knife technique. The new owner, a very loyal collector, commissioned this piece after seeing a small version in my studio done on paper (18" x 24" ). I find it difficult to part with some paintings. I would have loved to display Fall - Once Again in my studio... if I had enough walls. I am happy knowing that it is being enjoyed and appreciated in a new home.

HIGHLIGHTS 2019 - Reception

I enjoyed attending the reception to the Etobicoke Art Group exhibit. It was a great opportunity to share a Sunday afternoon with fellow artists, family and friends.
