Alice's Art Gallery

An enthusiastic group of Lions and friends gathered, once again, to raise funds for different community projects. I have donated one of my paintings to be raffled among the guests. Fall is in the Air is a 16" x 20" acrylic on paper.The recipient of the first prize was Gloria Garces. I was very happy because Gloria loved it. I am sure she will find the perfect place in her home for my painting.      

On September 12th, the exhibiting artists had an opportunity to chat and answer questions about their work. I am posting a few pictures with visitors that responded to my invitation and joined me for the event. I thank guests and the general public for attending. My special gratitude to Deputy Consul of Argentina, Mr. Luis Luna and his wife Celeste for taking time from their busy schedules to share the evening with me. The show closes this coming Sunday. Stop by if you are in downtown this weekend. The Art Square Gallery is located at 334 Dundas St. West, just across from the Art Gallery of Ontario. I am very happy because two of my paintings have now a new home!          

It was a very good reception!  The artists from Art Forum Gala did a great job at preparing for the event. With the attendance of guests, family and photographers from local papers the night became extra special for all the artists. I will be attending the Meet the Artist Evening on September 12th from 7:30PM to 9:00 PM If you have time I would like to see you there.
