Square Foot Project Show at Art Square Gallery





It is SHOW TIME again !

Starting today August 24th I am exhibiting with a group of artists at the Art Square Gallery, across from the Art gallery of Ontario on Dundas St. This is my second year and my third exhibit at this downtown gallery. The show continues until noon of September 20th.  I will be in attendance for the RECEPTION on Thursday August 27th  between 6:30 PM and 9:00 PM. 
I will be also available for the MEET THE ARTISTS NIGHT Saturday, September 12th ONLY between 6PM and 8 PM.

"Fall- Once Again"... also finds a new home

Fall- Once Again is a 42" x 48" acrylic painting on canvas. This time I have used a limited colour palette and knife technique. The new owner, a very loyal collector, commissioned this piece after seeing a small version in my studio done on paper (18" x 24" ). I find it difficult to part with some paintings. I would have loved to display Fall - Once Again in my studio... if I had enough walls. I am happy knowing that it is being enjoyed and appreciated in a new home.

I enjoyed attending the reception to the Etobicoke Art Group exhibit. It was a great opportunity to share a Sunday afternoon with fellow artists, family and friends. IMPACT 2022 Juried Exhibition at NPCC

  My painting titled Naked Trees was selected to enter Impact 2022 Juried Exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre. For the past couple of years I have been working on this series of naked trees using different palettes and techniques. This mixed media piece is part of a small series that will be complete by the end of this year. The show had the Award ceremony on July 21st with great attendance from members and guests.
