Christmas time is here again and Neilson Park Creative Centre celebrates the Holiday Season with another exhibit. Deck the Halls allows the public to shop from the walls and go home with a painting. I am showing Divine Creation an acrylic painting in which the blue diamond represents the Blue Planet. Divine, no doubt, for the bounty that offers us year after year!
If you have time, please stop by the Centre and pick up a painting for a loved one or..... yourself.
The show runs from December 9th to the 30th. Call the centre for gallery hours.

"Fall- Once Again"... also finds a new home

Fall- Once Again is a 42" x 48" acrylic painting on canvas. This time I have used a limited colour palette and knife technique. The new owner, a very loyal collector, commissioned this piece after seeing a small version in my studio done on paper (18" x 24" ). I find it difficult to part with some paintings. I would have loved to display Fall - Once Again in my studio... if I had enough walls. I am happy knowing that it is being enjoyed and appreciated in a new home.

I enjoyed attending the reception to the Etobicoke Art Group exhibit. It was a great opportunity to share a Sunday afternoon with fellow artists, family and friends. IMPACT 2022 Juried Exhibition at NPCC

  My painting titled Naked Trees was selected to enter Impact 2022 Juried Exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre. For the past couple of years I have been working on this series of naked trees using different palettes and techniques. This mixed media piece is part of a small series that will be complete by the end of this year. The show had the Award ceremony on July 21st with great attendance from members and guests.
