Blue Grotto was the painting I have selected for this exhibition. Working with fluid acrylics was a satisfying experience that has allowed me to explore another way of expressing myself on the canvas.
My painting titled Naked Trees was selected to enter Impact 2022 Juried Exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre. For the past couple of years I have been working on this series of naked trees using different palettes and techniques. This mixed media piece is part of a small series that will be complete by the end of this year. The show had the Award ceremony on July 21st with great attendance from members and guests.
I am participating once again in the EtobicokeArt Group Members Exhibition with two pieces of the series I named FLOATING. I have been working on this group of paintings for the past two years. With seven pieces on canvas and six on paper, I may explore a new theme for now before expanding this one. I will be attending the closing reception at Neilson Park Creative Centre on Saturday, April13th at 2:30PM. Hope to see you there CASCADING 16” x 20” acrylic on canvas FLOATING 24” x 30” acrylic on canvas
Last Saturday was our final day for this show. It was very nice chatting with members after my winter absence. A great opportunity to catch up on their latest projects. In this photo I am with Renee Makino who had two paintings between my two pieces of the Floating Series. I took a short video but I was unable to upload it in this blog.
