Blue Grotto was the painting I have selected for this exhibition. Working with fluid acrylics was a satisfying experience that has allowed me to explore another way of expressing myself on the canvas.
My painting titled Naked Trees was selected to enter Impact 2022 Juried Exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre. For the past couple of years I have been working on this series of naked trees using different palettes and techniques. This mixed media piece is part of a small series that will be complete by the end of this year. The show had the Award ceremony on July 21st with great attendance from members and guests.
INTERESTING TIMES, an Etobicoke Art Group, members only, exhibition took place at Neilson Park Creative Centre from March 3rd until March 23rd. I selected for this show two pieces that belong to two different series. Lavender mist 24” x 36”, acrylic painting on canvas and Rhythms of change mixed media on canvas 12’ x 24”. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend the opening of the show since I was not in Canada during part of March and April. You can see the video in my Instagram handle @aliceberloni Rhythms of change Lavender mist
Last Saturday was our final day for this show. It was very nice chatting with members after my winter absence. A great opportunity to catch up on their latest projects. In this photo I am with Renee Makino who had two paintings between my two pieces of the Floating Series. I took a short video but I was unable to upload it in this blog.
